Our buliding is named Cambium and was finished in February 2003.

The name Cambium has a meaning. Cambium is the tissue of a tree between the bark and the wood . We considered it an appropriate name for a buliding in which different companies of the wood chain were settled.

All companies have been closely involved in the designing stage of the bulding. It was priority number one that a lot of wood was used. We succeeded in that.

The following wood species are used:
Windowframes outside:  oregon pine
Windowframes inside: iroko
Facade: transparant coated WRC
Wooden column entrie: Russian larix
Floor in hall and cafetaria: Plexwood

In all public rooms a combination of materials (wood with aluminium) is used. This symolises the fact that the companies involved, also have knowledge of other materials besides wood.
